Four Criminals of Metro and Railway arrested

Valuables worth lakhs recovered.

The staff of Railway and Metro Police have arrested 4 criminals in separate incidents and have recovered laptop, mobile phones & cash worth Rs. 20,000/- . The details of these criminals are as under:-

1.Manjit s/o Subhash Chand, r/o 506/28 ChoudharyPark, Gurgaon, Haryana, age 22 years.

2.Ashok s/o Surender Yadav, r/oVillage Tontolbhadli, District Madhubani, Biha,r age 25 years.

3.Bharat s/o Subhash Sharma r/o H.No. 506/28, Gali No. 8, JyotiPark, Gurgaon, Haryana, age 22 years.

4.Anwar @ Karamat @ Kismat s/o Kalam Sekh @ Gulam Shekh r/o H.No.G-4, Rahul Garden, Village Behta Hazipur Loni, Distt. Ghaziabad (U.P)

Accused arrested at P.S. Old Delhi Railway Station:-

The staff of Police Station Old Delhi Railway Station have arrested three accused namely Manjit s/o Subhash Chand, r/o 506/28 Choudhary park, Gurgaon, Haryana, age 22 years, Ashok s/o Surender Yadav r/o Village Tontolbhadli District Madhubani Bihar age 25 years and Bharat s/o Subhash Sharma r/o H.No. 506/28, Gali No. 8, JyotiPark, Gurgaon, Haryana, age 22 years and recovered stolen laptop and mobile phones from their possession.

On 04.01.2013, the complainant Ashish Kumar s/o Sh.BalwanSinghr/oVillage Mushudpur, Farrukhnagar, Gurgaon, Haryana had reported that his bag containing laptop make Dell, two mobile phones and some documents, had been stolen from Old Delhi Railway Station. A case FIR No.2/13 dated 04.01.2013 u/s 379 IPC PS ODRS was registered and investigation was taken up. A small team consisting of SI Rajinder Dabas, HC Mukesh Ram, Ct. Raghuraj and Ct. Parvesh was formed to arrest the accused. The team worked tirelessly and after the technical surveillance, the team could zero down on Manjit and Ashok. They both were arrested and the stolen mobile phone and laptop were recovered from their possession. One Juvenile has also been detained as per the JJ Act in the case. After their arrest, one of their accomplices Bharat s/o Subhash Sharma r/o H.No. 506/28 Gali No. 8 Jyoti Park Gurgaon Haryana has also been arrested and one stolen mobile phone make Samsung has been recovered from his possession. The stolen mobile phone is being linked.

Accused arrested in P.S.ShastriPark (Metro)

On 21.2.2013 a burglary was reported in Bata Showroom at Dilshad Garden Metro Station. The shutter of the Showroom was broken with the help of an iron rod. A cash of Rs. 42,000/- was stolen in the burglary. Accordingly a case FIRNo. 10/13 u/s 457/380 IPC PS Shastri Park Metro was registered and investigation was taken up. A team was constituted under the supervision of Inspr Anand lakra, SHO/Shastri Park Metro HC Raj Kumar, Ct Rajneesh and Ct Sunil was formed to work out the case. The team got success when an information was received regarding one active burgler namely Anwar @ Karamat s/o Kalam Sheikh r/o H.No. G-4 RahulGardenVillage Behta Hazipur Loni Distt Ghaziabad (UP). A raid was conducted and the accused was arrested. From his possession Rs. 20,000/- and one iron rod used in the burglary has been recovered. He confessed to have committed the burglary with one co-accused Sadam. He is involved in 20 cases of thefts and Arms Acts. Efforts are being made to arrest Sadam and recover the balance amount.

SNATCHER ARRESTED

The staff of PS Subhash Place of North West District has arrested one snatcher namely Umesh Kumar S/o Sh. Narayan Dass R/o M-85, J.J. Colony, Shakur, Delhi and snatched mobile recovered from his possession.

INCIDENT & INVESTIGATION

On 24.2.13, HC Muni Lal informed Duty Officer of PS Subhash Place that a boy has been apprehended when he was trying to escape after snatching a mobile phone from a lady. SI Rahul alongwith Ct.
Ashwini reached in front of F Block, JJ Colony, Shakurpur where HC Muni Lal found along with accused person and complainant. HC Muni Lal told that he was on patrolling duty in the area when he heard some noise and saw a boy running after snatching something from an auto. On this, he immediately came into action and apprehended the accused person along with the snatched mobile phone. In the meantime, complainant also came and identified the accused person & mobile phone. Both were handed over to SI Rahul for further course of action. On this, a case vide FIR No. 82/13 u/s 356/379/411 IPC was registered and investigation was taken up.

INTERROGATION

During interrogation, it revealed that accused belongs to a BPL family and lives in J.J. Colony. He had previously been involved in crime & following cases were registered against him: -

FIR No. 625/08 dated 04/10/08 u/s 380/411 IPC P.S. Subhash Place. Status of this case is P.T.

FIR No. 164/11 dated 30/04/11 u/s 25 Arms Act P.S. Subhash Place. Accused has been convicted in this case.

FIR No. 117/12 dated 26/03/12 u/s 25/54/59 Arms Act P.S. Subhash Place. Accused has been convicted in this case.

PROCLAIMED OFFENDERS ARRESTED

In the first instance the Spl. Team of P.S Bharat Nagar arrested one proclaimed offender namely Rajan @ Rahul s/o Jeet Bahadur r/o I-1475, Jahangir Puri, Delhi. He was declared P.O on 10.02.12 by the Hon'ble Court of Sh.Sunil Choudhary, M.M Rohini Court in case FIR No. 965/05 u/s 379/411/34 IPC P.S. Mangol Puri, Delhi. ASI Naresh Rana received a secret information about the presence of proclaimed offender Rajan @ Rahul in the area of Tis Hajari, Delhi. He laid a trap and apprehended her from near Tis Hajari Court, Delhi.

In the second instance the Spl. Team of P.S Swaroop Nagar arrested one proclaimed offender namely Akhrot @ Mahender s/o Rama @ Ram Dass r/o T-140, Village Bharola, Delhi. He was declared P.O on 8.6.9 by the Hon'ble Court of Sh. Neeraj Gaur, M.M Rohini Court in case FIR No. 28/09 u/s 379/411/34 IPC P.S Adarsh Nagar, Delhi. HC Jetha Ram and Ct Vilash received a secret information about the presence of proclaimed offender Akhrot @ Mahender in the area of Village Bharola, Delhi. They laid a trap and apprehended him from Village Bharola, Adarsh Nagar, Delhi.

ONE BURGLER ARRESTED

INCIDENT

On 18.2.13, complainant Mohan Singh resident of Jahangir Puri reported that on 5.2.13, he had gone to Baliya for attending some social work. On 11.2.13 when he was in Baliya (Uttar Pradesh), he received a telephone call from his landlord regarding burglary in his home. After reaching Delhi on 18.2.13, he reported the matter to police and accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 50/13 u/s 457/380 IPC was registered at PS Jahangir Puri.

INVESTIGATION & ARREST

During the course of investigation lot of efforts were taken by the staff of PS Jahanagir Puri and accused Mainuddin @ Kitti S/o Sheikh Safeek R/o Jhiggi No. N-38/336, CD Park, Jahangir Puri has been arrested on 22.2.13 and stolen Luminous Inverter was recovered from his possession. In this theft, one juvenile involved has also been apprehended. During interrogation, accused Mainuddin @ Kitti has also admitted his involvement in another theft case of PS Jahangir Puri during the year 2012.

BLIND MURDER CASE WORKED OUT

Accused of murder having no eye witness in police net.

Committed murder to rob the deceased.

Both are drug addicts.

The accused has committed the offence along with a juvenile.

A team of P.S. Subhash Place, North West District has arrested one Sazid Ali alongwith one juvenile for involving in a sensational blind murder case having no eye witness.

ACCUSED ARRESTED:

1.Sazid Ali S/o Munir Khan R/o Vill. Kureshi Pur, Teh. Ballabgarh, Distt. Faridabad, Haryana.

2.One Juvenile

INCIDENT:

On 22/02/13, after receiving an information regarding an unconscious person lying on Ring Road, SI Parmod along with Ct. Ashwini reached Main Ring Road in front of Telephone Exchange, Keshav Puram near Footover bridge, J.J. Colony, Shakurpur, Delhi. It was found that a person in injured state was lying on the spot and PCR van has taken the injured to B.M.Hospital, Pitampura, Delhi. On this, SI Pramod reached B.M.Hospital where he found that he was declared ‘brought dead’. In the meantime, SHO/Subhash Place and ATO/Subhash Place also reached the spot. SI Pramod came back to the spot and the Crime team was called up, to assist in the investigation. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 78/13 u/s 302 IPC was registered & investigation was taken up by Inspr. Om Dutt, ATO/Subhash Place.

Looking at the gravity of the case, a dedicated team of staff of P.S. Subhash Place was constituted and headed by Inspr. Om Dutt Vats, ATO/Subhash Place, I.O. of the case under the close supervision of Insp Pankaj Malik, SHO/Subhash Place and under overall supervision of Sh. Ashish Anan, ACP/ Saraswati Vihar. The team so constituted worked hard relentlessly and conducted raids at various places at Delhi and Haryana. The team also activated their informers.

INVESTIGATION

Investigation of this case was started keeping in view both the angels i.e. enemity and robbery with murder. As the name & parentage of the deceased was not known, extra ordinary efforts to identify the deceased were made by ASI Sushil, HC Suresh and Ct. Baldev Raj and it came out that the deceased’s name was Umed S/o Shri Niwas R/o L-444, J.J. Colony, Shakurpur, Delhi aged 37 years and he was returning home from Ajmer, Rajasthan when all this happened to him. During the course of investigation, it came to light that the deceased person was robbed and was stabbed by the robbers while robbing the deceased due to which he succumbed to his injuries. Hence, local criminals having previous similar modus operandi were verified and apart from that, family members & relatives of the deceased were called up for interrogation. As there was no eye witness in the case, nearby persons were called up and sustained interrogation was done with them but no clue came out.

On clues from technical surveillance, a team was activated and raids were conducted in various Blocks in J.J. Colony and one juvenile was apprehended. During further investigation, the juvenile disclosed before Juvenile Welfare Officer that he has committed the murder along with one Sazid Ali S/o Munir Khan R/o Vill. Kureshi Pur, Teh. Ballabgarh, Distt. Faridabad, Haryana with the intention of robbery. The robbed mobile of deceased was recovered from his possession. He further disclosed that he had been previously involved in crime and is a drug addict. He disclosed that he knew Sajid for a very long time as Sajid used to reside in H Block earlier and after getting involved in some cases, his father sold their house from Shakurpur and shifted to Faridabad.

Later, based on secret information, Sajid S/o Munir Khan was arrested from park near D-Block on 25/02/13, it came to light that he was previously involved in many more cases. He is a drug addict due to which he had committed this crime along with juvenile. Accused disclosed that he very often comes to Delhi to meet his old friends and to commit crime. On 21.02.13 in the evening, he drank alcohol along with his friends and met the juvenile also. Both, after getting their alcohol bottle & drugs finished, started roaming here & there for the purpose of robbing someone as they didn’t had any money left with them. The weapon used in the commission of crime was recovered from Sajid.

NAME AND PROFILE OF ACCUSED:

1.The juvenile is 17 years old, uneducated and belongs to a BPL family.

2.Sazid Ali S/o Munir Khan R/o Vill. Kureshi Pur, Teh. Ballabgarh, Distt. Faridabad, Haryana. Age 23 yrs. Uneducated. Works as Laborer and belongs to a BPL family.

2.One Buttondar Knife

NATORIOUS BURGLAR-CUM-ABSENT B.C. ARRESTED

The staff of P.S. Rani Bagh has arrested one notorious burglar-cum-B.C. of PS Ashok Vihar Mohit @ Chikna s/o Ashok r/o F-62, Jailor wala bagh, Ashok Vihar, PhaseII, Delhi, age 23 years for making burglary in a mobile shop in Rani Bagh area.

INCIDENT:

In the mid night of 22-23/1/13 an incident of night burglary occurred in Shop No. 1 (Mobile Phone shop), Umed Complex, Shiva Market, Pitampura, Delhi. The complainant Sh. Vinesh resident of Village Pitampura, Delhi found that 60 mobile phones have been stolen after breaking the shutter. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 27/13 U/s 457/380 IPC was registered at police station Rani Bagh and investigation was taken up. A dedicated team of HC Santosh and HC Narender was formed under the leadership of Inspr. Dheeraj Narang, SHO Rani Bagh and under the overall supervision of ACP/S.Vihar.

INTERROGATION:

During interrogation, it revealed that the accused Mohit belongs to economically poor family. He has been involved in many criminal cases. He is B.C. of PS Ashok Vihar, Delhi and his activities were under watch. Hence, he shifted his activities to Loni Ghaziabad, U.P. Here, he started working as a juice vendor near one wine shop. Here he became friendly with the other vendors. Meanwhile, he came in touch with one Ramesh who initially came to his juice counter as customer but later both of them became good friends. Mohit learnt that Ramesh is also a burglar like him. Both of them started committing petty thefts. Ramesh told Mohit that he knew about one shop of mobile phone situated in PitampuraVillage where they could easily commit burglary. Both of them hatched the plan to commit burglary at the aforesaid shop. Accordingly, Mohit along with Ramesh committed theft and went to Loni, Ghaziabad. Ramesh gave 11 stolen mobile phones to Mohit and kept the rest with him on the pretext of giving him share later on after selling those phones. Later, Mohit was arrested and 2 mobile phones were recovered from his possession and 9 other mobile phones were also recovered at his instance from the persons who were bonafide purchasers of the stolen mobiles.

PROFILE AND MODUS OPERANDY:

Accused Mohit was born in lower middle class family. His father runs coaching classes in Kanpur. He studied upto 8th standard in Kanpur. Then he left his school as he was not interested in studies. He came to Delhi around 4-5 years ago and started living in Ashok Vihar where he fell in bad company and thus he started committing offences. Later, he was declared B.C. of PS Ashok Vihar. Because of his Bad Character status, his activities were under watch and therefore, he left Ashok Vihar and went to Loni, Ghaziabad where he met one Ramesh, another burglar, thereafter both of them committed theft in a mobile shop in village Pitampura. Accused Mohit has been involved in 13 theft cases of North West and outer Districts.

RECOVERY: 11 Mobile Phones.

THREE ROBBERS ARRESTED

INCIDENT:

On 24/02/13 complainant Virender Singh resident of Jahangir Puri Delhi reported that at about 11.45 PM, he along with his son Rahul was returning back to home after meeting their relatives and when reached near Coudhary C Block, 3-4 persons appeared in front of them and slapped them and forcibly taken mobile of his son Rahul, make NOKIA C-1-01 D and ran away from the spot. In this regard, a cases vide FIR No. 60/13 u/s 392/394/34 IPC was registered at PS Jahangir Puri on 25/02/13.

INVESTIGATION

During investigation, efforts were made by the staff of PS Jahangir Puri to arrest the accused persons and subsequently, three persons namely (1) Anand Karotiya S/o Tejpal R/o Jhuggi No.1/81 CD Park Jahangir Puri Delhi and (2) Sameer S/o Jamir R/o C-601, Jahangir Purl Delhi ( 3) Shahdab S/o Riyazudin R/o Jhuggi No. C-248 Jahangir Puri Delhi were arrested and recovered the robbed mobile was recovered from the possession of accused Shahdab.
