The GM/COO position is a true chief operating officer of the club and reports to the Board President. The candidate will have 10 years of progressive GM/COO experience at a similar quality, full-service,member owned club environment and will have demonstrated the ability to work well with private club committees and board members. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional strategic, financial and budgeting acumen. Demonstrated skills in creating and maintaining highly regarded food and beverage operations and quality are essential. The candidate must have a proven record of strong operational management skills and will have a verifiably impeccable career path ensuring the highest standards of operation and attention to detail. The GM/COO will oversee all departments and must have solid knowledge of every area of club operations. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated team leader and who provides respectful, mentoring leadership and guidance to a dedicated group of department heads and employees. He/She must possess the ability to function effectively with the Board and Committeesensuring the club’s future stability and success.The club is looking for a “visionary, take-charge type” hands on person who embraces the management of the club and who will yield results.Integrity, visibility, creativity, enthusiasm and energy are of the utmost importance to this membership, along with exceptionally strong interpersonal and communication skills. He/she must have strong marketing skills and a proven record of membership recruitment, satisfaction and interaction. Previousexperience in successfully leading operations to achieve verifiably high member satisfaction in quality services and amenities, along with long range and strategic planning skills are considered very valuable and preferred. A college degree and the CCM are desirable.
