Pre-InternshipPreparation

Thepre-internshippreparationconsistsofan orientationsessionandprofessionaldevelopment trainingsintopicsalignedtotheStateBoardfor EducatorCertificationStandardsforPrincipals.These includesessionsoninstructionalleadershipand management,teacher appraisal,analysisofstudentand campusdata,specialprogramadministration,anda book studywithon-linebaseddiscussion,assignments, andreflections.

InternshipContinuingTraining

Leadershipscholarshavevaryingoptionstocomplete theinternshipphaseoftheprogram:

 Bytaking onadditionaladministrative responsibilitiestotaling200hoursover

10 – 11 monthperiod.

 Byservingasacampusadministratorona probationarycertificate.

Leadershipscholarsarementoredbyapracticing principalrecommendedbythedistrictandare supported,supervisedandevaluatedbyanESCfield supervisorwithprincipalexperience.
