Former NFL quarterback Joe Theismann to deliver keynote address
at 2015 International WorkBoat Show in New Orleans on Dec. 1
Joe Theismann,former star quarterback for the Washington Redskins, will deliver the keynote addressat the International WorkBoat Show on Tuesday, Dec. 1, in New Orleans.
“Theismann is a great match for the International WorkBoat Show audience with his experience succeeding under pressure and adapting to unexpected situations. Attendees should enjoy hearing his personal stories and insights on setting goals on the way to success,” said David Krapf, editor in chief of WorkBoat magazine.
Theismann, who will speak at theMorial Convention Center, led the Washington Redskins to a 27-17 victory over the Miami Dolphins in Super Bowl XVII and won the NFL’s Most Valuable Player Award in 1983.He has spent the last two decades working for ESPNand the NFL Network and also oversees a popular Washington, D.C., restaurant that bears his name. He was named the recipient of the 2013 Walter Camp Football Foundation Distinguished American Award.
The International WorkBoat Show is North America’s largest commercial marine trade show and conference. The 36th edition of the show will be held from Tuesday, Dec. 1, through Thursday, Dec. 3. This year’s show will feature more than 1,100 exhibitors and a comprehensive conference program with programming in five tracks. The show is expected to attract nearly 15,000 people.
