Documents Required for Final Release of Funds

The California Department of Education (CDE) will release the final funds for your Child Care Facilities Revolving Fund (CCFRF) project after: (1) your architect has certified the final costs; (2) the completed project has been inspected and approved by the Division of the State Architect (DSA) or the local building department and (3) copies of all receipts for all related relocatable costs are submitted. CDE will release the remaining funds after the receipt, review, and approval of all documents listed below. Please note you must submit separate documents for each project.

Documents to Submit:

1.  Architect’s Certification of Final Costs (CCFRF-4) Form: The final fund release of the project will be based on this certification of final costs, or up to the maximum allowance, whichever is less. Original signature required. Go to http://www.cde.ca.gov/fg/fo/r2/ccfrfgf1617rfa.asp to download this form. Click on CCFRF; scroll down and click on application; scroll down to form 4; open and complete.

2.  Relocatable Building Certification/Approval Letter: “Certification and Close of File” letter from the DSA regarding project completion and inspection (for relocatable buildings to be placed on property owned by school districts, county office of education, and community colleges).

or

Project inspection and approval letter from the local city or county building department (for relocatable buildings to be placed on property not subject to the jurisdiction of the DSA; such as city, county, state, and privately-owned property).

3.  Receipts: Copies of receipts for all related costs for the relocatable project.
