Form N1:Course and Programme Notifications to Academic Registry (via Clerks of USC and PSC)

This form should be used to notify Academic Registry, via the Clerk of USC and PSC
FOR /
  • Courses:New, withdrawn, changes to: title, code, level, credit-rating, stage, semester (complete sections 1, 2 and 4)
  • Programmes:Changes that do not affect the programme description template, eg insertion, removal, movement of courses (complete sections 1 and 3 and 4).

WHEN /
  1. Changes affect the structure of a programme.
  2. Changes affect timetabling (Academic Registry will notify Timetablers).
  3. Changes do not affect the programme description template. (Where changes do affect the programme description template a category 2 short-form proposal should be submitted to the appropriate Studies Committee for approval, see Summary of Approval Processes document.)

NB: Course amendments should be completed on Banner by Schools.
Changes to a programme structure should be completed on Banner by Academic Registry.
