Dear Coaches:

The Annual Forest Hills Powerlifting Meet has been scheduled for Saturday, February 15th, 2014, at the Forest Hills High School. Enclosed you will find a participant application, team roster and a team-scoring page. All competitors are to be listed on the team roster and all will be eligible for awards. If your team consists of more than twelve applicants then you must choose the twelve you feel would score points towards the team award.

You do not need to enter as a team, individual lifters are welcomed.

Forest Hills Powerlifting Club Meet

Date:Saturday, February 15th, 2014

Time:7:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. Weigh-in for ALL lifters

9:30 a.m. – Competition will begin and run to completion.

Entry Fee:$10.00 – Must be paid with registration.

Check of Money Order Payable to “Forest Hills Powerlifting Club.”

Students in grades 8-12 are permitted to enter the contest.

Events:Squat

Bench Press

Deadlift

Rules:Knee, wrist wraps and belts ONLY!

NO BENCH SHIRTS OR SQUAT AND DEADLIFT SUITS!!

This is a RAW meet. Powerlifting rules to govern all lifts.

Squat: Must go below parallel (hip joint below top of knee)

Bench: Bar must stop on chest and be pressed on command.

Deadlift: No hitching, lifter must lockout weight.

Awards:Trophies will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each weight class. There will be awards for outstanding lightweight lifter, heavyweight lifter and top 3 teams.

Weight Classes: 114, 123, 132, 148, 165 – Lightweights

181, 198, 220, 242, 275, Unlimited – Heavyweights
