Second Grade Supply List 2014-2015
Please bring the indicated supplies on the first day of school. I am requiring that certain supplies be of a specific brand because it is of better quality and will last longer. Target and Walmart carry all the items listed below. Please see me if you have any questions regarding these supplies. I appreciate your understanding.
1. Please make sure to label the following with your child’s full name: all supplies (unless specified), uniform shirt, uniform sweater, backpack, and lunch bag. 2. Due to limited storage space, please do not send large folders, large book bags, or large pencil boxes.

1 pair of earbuds for computer lab
*Small Plastic Index card storage box (to fit 3”x5” cards)
1 pack of index cards 3”x5” (with lines.)
2 composition books (wide ruled)
$5 for TIME For Kids magazine to be used in the classroom (Please send $5 to Ms. Alent in a sealed envelope labeled TIME For Kids and Your child’s name)
*Small fabric zip up pencil pouch (Please place the following supplies in this pouch)
*2 Pink Pearl Erasers
*4 Sharpened Ticonderoga #2 Pencils
*1 thin Expo Marker (re supply as needed)
*1 yellow Highlighter(re supply as needed)
*2 Purple Pens (re supply as needed)
NO PERSONAL PENCIL SHARPENERS!!
*Small Plastic Pencil Box (Please place the following supplies in this box) Due to limited storage space, please do not send large large pencil boxes. Standard size only please!
*2 Large Pink Pearl Erasers
*1 Box of Crayola Crayons (24 count maximum)
*2 Glue Sticks
*1 Pair of Fiskars scissors for kids
*One 4 oz. Elmer’s glue bottle
NO MARKERS or COLORED PENCILS. THESE TWO ITEMS WILL BE REQUESTED AFTER CHRISTMAS VACATION.
