Report Cards
Report cards went home Thursday, October 20. If you did not receive a report card you will need to pay the $50 school fee. If you have not signed and returned your child’s report card please do so as soon as possible.
Greek Mythology Literary Vocabulary Tested
- myth (n.) – a legendary story usually concerning a hero or event and usually explains a phenomenon of nature
- tragedy (n.) – a dramatic composition often dealing with a serious theme or tragic event
- supernatural (adj.)- magical; cannot be explained by natural laws
- trident (n.) – a three pronged spear
- Cyclops (n.) – a strong one-eyed giant in Greek mythology
- Mount Olympus (n.) – the highest mountain in Greece
- heroic (adj.) – courageous; showing great bravery or determination
