Ticket Restaurant® Card Use Policy

The rights and obligations applicable to the use of a Ticket Restaurant® card (hereinafter only referred to as the “Card”) are specified in the following Ticket Restaurant® Card Use Policy (hereinafter only referred to as the “Policy”).

Before you start using the Card, please read this Policy carefully. By using the Card for the first time, you hereby acknowledge that you have read this Policy and that you understand and agree with it. Should you have any questions, please contact our Customer Service as specified below.

The Card contains pre-charged values. Any values associated to the Card are the ownership of Edenred Slovakia, s.r.o., and managed by PrePay Technologies Ltd.. This Card has been issued by PrePay Technologies Ltd., a member of Edenred, under a licence granted by MasterCard International or its affiliates.

Activating the Card

Before the first use, the Ticket Restaurant® Card must be activated and a PIN code obtained/selected. To activate the Card, please use a 6-digit code that you can find at the bottom of an accompanying letter delivered to you along with the Card. You can activate the Card either through the website, in the ”MY ACCOUNT/REGISTER” section, or via a Ticket Restaurant® hotline at 02/5262 7777 by selecting “ACTIVATE MY CARD" option. You will need your Card number for this purpose (a 16-digit or 19-digit number shown on the front of the Card).

Obtaining/selecting/changing PIN

A contactless Card:

If you activate the Card via the Internet, you will get your assigned PIN code in the “MY ACCOUNT/ PIN REVEAL” section.

If you activate the Card via the hotline, you will be told your PIN by an operator immediately after activation.

You may change your PIN in any ATM in the territory of the Slovak Republic.

Card with a magnetic strip:

If you activate the Card via the Internet, you will get your assigned PIN code in the “MY ACCOUNT/ PIN REVEAL” section.

If you activate the Card via the hotline, you will choose your PIN during activation.

You may change your PIN via the hotline by selecting the “CHANGE THE PIN” option.

Using the Card

Once activated, the Card is ready to be used for making full or partial payments exclusively in partner restaurants or at partner vendors listed at the website. The Card may also be used to make payments via a restaurant’s or vendor’s website, unless specified otherwise. The Card cannot be used in other than partner restaurants or partner vendors.

Each payment made by the Ticket Restaurant® card via a POS Terminal requires that you either enter your PIN (if you have a Card with a magnetic strip, or if you have a contactless Card and the total value of your purchase exceeds €20) or place the Card near the terminal (if you have a contactless Card and the total value of your purchase does not exceed €20).

For each payment made by the Ticket Restaurant® card via SMS you have to send an SMS to 0902 028 928 in the following format: ID number of the establishment_amount (in EUR)_note (a sample SMS may look like this: 87960_12,50_Stol9). You will then receive an SMS confirming the payment, containing the name of the establishment to whose account the payment was made and the information about your Card balance.

When paying by the Card, you receive no cash back, but you can use the remaining balance on your Card for future payments.

The minimum value of a single payment made by the Card or via the Ticket Restaurant® Mobile service (mobile payments) is €2.50.

The maximum value of a single contactless payment is €20. If the payment to be made by the contactless Card is higher than €20, you will be required to enter your PIN.

The maximum value of payments made by the Card or via the Ticket Restaurant® Mobile service (mobile payments) per day is €90.

The Card cannot be used to withdraw cash from an ATM; when used for payments in a restaurant or at a vendor, you receive no cash back. The values associated to the Card can be used to make a purchase via a POS Terminal or to make an SMS payment/purchase using a registered mobile device. For SMS payments/purchases, you must successfully register your Card for mobile payments via the website.

Restaurants and vendors do not accept damaged, altered or blocked Cards.

The Card expires at the end of the month specified on the Card.

The balance of values associated with the Card expires on the last day of the calendar year in which the values were associated with the Card. However, the values associated with the Card during the last calendar quarter expire as of the last day of the following calendar year. The balance of values associated with the Card may expire even before the expiry date of the Card. The Card User may check the expiry date and the related balance of values associated with the Card at or may contact the Customer Service by phone at 02/5262 7777.

The User is not entitled to request the refund of any unused balance of values associated with the Card. The balance of the value associated with the Card, including the relevant expiry dates, may be verified online at the home page or by contacting the Customer Service by phone at 02/5262 7777 (the charges of your telecommunications operator apply).

Safe use of the Card

The values associated with the Card should be treated as cash in your wallet. If you fail to notify the loss or theft of the Card in a timely manner, it might not be possible to redeem the balance of values associated with the Card. You should never let anyone use your Card. Please keep a record of the number of your Card in case you need to obtain information regarding the balance of values associated with the Card or notify the loss or theft of the Card, as your personal information might not necessarily be kept by us. The Card cannot be used for obtaining cash; the Card is not a credit, payment or a cheque card.

Cancellation and expiry of the Card

Should you need to have your Card replaced for whatever reason, please contact the Customer Service. If the Card is suspected to have been used in a negligent or unauthorised manner, we are authorised to block or cancel the Card. The Card expires at the end of the month specified on the Card. Following the expiry date of the Card, the unused balance may be used with the new Card that replaces the original Card. The Card User is not entitled to request the refund of any unused balance of values associated with the Card.

Loss and theft

If your Card is lost or stolen, or if you suspect it has been used without your knowledge, the Card must be blocked. If you have created your online account at you can block the card in “MY ACCOUNT/ BLOCK YOUR CARD” section. In case you have not created your online account, please contact your employer or the Customer Service at the email address

Our liability

Edenred Slovakia, s.r.o., and/or PrePay Technologies Ltd. are not liable for any damage or loss you may incur as a result of any misuse of your Card or its use by other person or organisation. We are also not liable for damage incurred without any fault on our part. In the event of our liability for damage caused by an error on our part, our liability is limited to the replacement of the Card. Edenred Slovakia, s.r.o. reserves the right to amend, supplement, replace or repeal these Rules, or terminate the use of the Ticket Restaurant® cards by means of a reasoned notification. Protection of personal data

Any processing of your personal data by us is subject to legislation applicable to the protection of personal data in the Slovak Republic, in particular Act No. 122/2013 Coll. as amended. Edenred Slovakia s.r.o. processes your personal data on behalf of your employer for the purposes of providing catering services to employees and on behalf of PrePay Technologies Ltd. for the purposes of carrying out activities related to the production and operation of the Ticket Restaurant® cards.

General provisions

We are authorised to transfer our rights and obligations under these Rules to a third party.
