Choosing the idealhoneymoonspot canstart to seem overwhelming—it feels likethe more you look the harder it is to choose. (But, let's be real, it's a pretty great problem to have in the scheme of things.) You have severalways to narrow downall thosechoices, depending on when you're traveling andwhat your priorities are. Typically, great weather and optimal sightseeing opportunities go hand in hand during a destination's high season—which also meanshigh room rates and more crowds (soreserve early!). During itslow season, seasonal businesses—restaurants, attractions and island ferries, for example—will oftenshut down orclose for renovations. And once you know when you'regoing, you can startcrossing off locations in the middle of their hurricaneor rainy seasons, or their absolute hottest or coldest months, and thensearching for spots in peak season.

If high season perks are exactly what you're afteron your honeymoon, we'll tell you where to go to find the best weather—orif you have your heart set on a specific destination, what to expect during themonth you plan to go. It's important to note that you'll want to consider more than just when to go for the best weather—there are be some places you should actively avoid during certain months, due to bad and even dangerous weather, like locations in the Carribbean Sea and Gulf of Mexico during Atlantic hurricane season.

Not surprisingly, adestination's highseason usually coincides with itsbest weather, but it can also be determined solely by demand. High season in Hawaii and the Caribbean, where the weather doesn't change that dramatically, runs from January to April simply because people from colder climates flock tosunny beaches to flee the winter chill. Conversely, Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida,is packed in the summer despite the soaring tempsbecause kids are out of school.
