Hello everyone,
Jazz and orchestra and band ... OH MY!
Nothing better than all of this fabulous music happening in the fall!! AND, didn't you love seeing the sea of 8th graders in the stands with our SUPERIOR Marching Band on Friday Night for 8th Grade Band Night?
Congratulations to the Neshaminy High School Marching Band for earning a SUPERIOR rating at the Council Rock Band Invitational this past Saturday. We were the only band to achievethis top rating for the night!! The new props and closing drill were all fantastic to see. In addition,we won the Best Music and Best Percussion awards for the night.
First, wanted to share a number of thank you's: to our FABULOUS lead teacher Mike Lipton and the entire music staff for everything you do for our students, to all those supporting Senior Recognition night (including our Super Duper chair: Trudy Odgers), to our ice cream social prep artists and scoopers, to those manning our sale tables, to all those in the closets helping with supplies and uniforms (uniform moms and my fellow board members too!!Didn't you love the pink accessories??), to all those watering our kids in the stands, to all those photographers snapping and sharing beautiful pics, and to the field and equipment crewfor picking things up and putting things down, to Karen Drass for keeping up communications on NHSIMB Parents Facebook site, we shout our sincere thanks for sharing your time and energy!!
Here are some highlights of other happenings:
