The International Organization for Migration (IOM) hereby invites licensed companies/suppliers in Libya who are experienced in following supply sectors and interested to submit their proposals for supplyingthefollowing itemstoTripoli–Zawia – Benghazi- Sabah.

1. Objective of the RFP

The purpose of this Request for Quotation (RFQ) is to enter into a Long Term Agreement (LTA) with successful bidders and select suitable suppliers to carry out the on-going Non-food Items outsourcing needs of IOM for a duration of one year with a potential extension of one additional year.

2. Purpose of the Long Term Agreement

IOM is looking to establish Long Term Agreements (LTA) with multiple vendors to facilitate the outsourcing of work. IOM will issue, based on internal demand, specific contracts with pre-determined terms of reference for contractors under LTA. Thus, it is anticipated that IOM will issue multiple contracts to different suppliers. Moreover, IOM reserves the right to make multiple arrangements for any item(s) where, in the opinion of IOM, the Bid winner/winners cannot fully meet the delivery requirements or it is deemed to be in IOM’s best interest to do so.

Eligible Suppliers for the LTA (One year Long Term Agreement):

Only Suppliers that are determined to be qualified shall be considered for award. In order to establish their eligibility, together with the Quotation the Supplier shall submit the following;

  • Registration documents.
  • Taxation cards.
  • Past performance/experience of the same type of business for at least 2 years.
  • Copy of the all contracts/Purchase Orders entered into for the last 2 years of the same type of business (indicate whether completed or ongoing).
  • Vendor Information Sheet with all required documents & information.

The complete bids as per bidding instruction shall be submitted in sealed envelopes to the IOM office in Tripoli, Libya not later than 15:00hrs on 03 August 2017. No bid submission will be accepted after thisdate.

IOM reserves the right to accept or reject any quotation, and cancel the procurement process at any time prior to award of supply contract, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected supplier/s or any obligation to inform the affected supplier/s of the reasonfor such IOM action.
