Orangewood was the class 2A state runner up in 2011. Dante Bichette was drafted that year (2011) with the 51st overall pick to New York Yankees. The 2014 team has 9 D1 commits or signees and 4 D2. Orangewood is currently ranked 49th in the county (all classes) by Perfect Game and #2 in the State (3A) by MaxPreps. The coaching staff has 25 years of professional baseball playing experience. Some scouts have said that Forrest Wall (Sr, 2B) is the best bat in this year’s draft. MLB mock draft has him as high as the 24th overall pick in the 2014 draft.Page 2 of 3
