Foothills United Way announces its first ever LIVE UNITED® Collaborative partnerships
Lafayette, Colo., October 28, 2016— Foothills United Way is proud to announce that 13 local collaborative groups have been officially recognized as LIVE UNITED® Collaboratives. Each of these groups is made up of nonprofits, government agencies, school districts, faith communities, businesses and other leaders in Boulder and Broomfield counties who have illustrated their dedication to collaborating with each other to solve some of the area’s most pressing issues.
“Foothills United Way provides expert connections and resources that give more than 1,000 separate, competing, local organizations a reason to work together.” said Doug Yeiser, CEO, Foothills United Way. “These approved partnerships align with the five standards we identified as part of our Framework for High-Impact Community Initiatives. Groups that model these standards are more likely to produce measurable results for the community.”
The five standards include: Setting a Shared Intention, Internal and External Communication, Learning and Innovation, Including All Voices and Leveraging All Community Assets.
These first ever LIVE UNITED® Collaborative partnerships include: Boulder County ABCD Partnership, Boulder Homeless Service Collaborative, BVSD Arapahoe Ridge School-based Heath Center Collaborative, Dream Big Initiative, DV/CPS Collaboration & Consultation Team, Human Services Alliance, Human Services Transportation Collaborative (HSTC), Mountain Human Services Collaborative, No Student Hungry Partnership, SMILES Virtual Dental Home Collaborative, The Early Childhood Council of Boulder County, Truancy Improvement Project (TIP) and Westlake Middle School Collaborative.
These 13 collaborative groups are working together to introduce innovative solutions in at least one of these three priority areas: Strengthening Families for Early Childhood Success, Attainable Housing and Community Resilience.
