Jefferson Urology Associates provides care in the diagnosis and treatment of all urological diseases. We offer state-of-the-art procedures with a focus on minimally invasive techniques. Jefferson Urology Associates are leaders in minimally invasive procedures for urological diseases. Practices are located at ThomasJeffersonUniv.Hospital in CenterCity and the Methodist Division in South Philadelphia.

We are the full time teaching faculty of JeffersonMedicalCollege. Our cancer specialists are all members of the KimmelCancerCenter. Our facultyconsists ofinternationally recognized experts in all major fields of urology, including:

  • Endourology– The use of small fiberoptic scopes to see the lining of the urinary tract from kidney to bladder, used mostly to treat stones and some tumors.
  • Oncology– Diagnosis and treatment of cancer of the urinary tract of men and women including, kidney, adrenal gland, ureter, bladder, prostate, testis, penis
  • Laparoscopy– Surgical procedures in which a fiberoptic instrument is inserted through a small incision in the abdomen and used to perform surgery of the kidney, ureters, bladder and prostate.
  • Robotically-assisted laparoscopy—This procedure is performed for prostate, kidney and bladder surgery.
  • Male factor infertility– Treatment to reverse low sperm count
  • Pediatric urology– Treatment of urological problems in children (duPontHospital for Children faculty)
  • Urinary tract infection– Treatment of bacterial infection of the urethra, bladder, ureters or kidneys
  • Neurourology and Female Urology– Treatment of urologic conditions that have a neurological origin such as spinal cord injury anddisorders of the lower urinarytract in females such as urinary leakage
