Using the Thesaurus – Create an Acrostic Activity

Directions:

1.  Type your first name along the left margin of your document.

2.  Using each letter of your name, type a word that describes you.

3.  Right click on this page and select synonyms from the pop up box.

4.  Click on the thesaurus to find 2 synonyms for each word. Type the words next to each letter of your name.

5.  Apply text formatting to your document. (Words size=20 & Letters size=50)

6.  Insert 1 piece of ClipArt to represent the words for each letter of your name. Resize the Clip Art so it fits next to the words.

7.  Print to printer 13501. Make sure you fit everything on one page before printing.

Stylish – fashionable, trendy

Athletic – fit, healthy

Radiant – joyful, shining

Attentive – considerate, helpful
