Bala Cynwyd, PA (December 16, 2009): Classic Rock 102.9 'MGK is proud to present the ultimate event for the "Beatlemaniac" on anyone's shopping list, the Classic Rock 102.9 'MGK Beatles Art Show, Thursday, December 17th through Sunday, December 20th at the Shoppes at English Village (1460 Bethlehem Pike, Corner of 63 & 309) 10:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. (Sunday 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.). The exhibit space is located next to the Iron Hill Brewery. Admission to the show is free and all works are available to purchase. Items range in price from as low as $20 to as high as $10,000.

WMGK's Beatles Art Show is a celebration of both the music and art of the "the Lads from Liverpool". The art show features rare artwork created by John Lennon, Paul McCartney & Ringo Starr as well as famous Beatles photographs, album cover lithographs and one-of-a-kind Beatles animation plus related works from friends and influences of the band including the Rolling Stones.

Famed animator Ron Campbell will be appearing inside the exhibit throughout its four day run. He'll be signing autographs and answering questions from those attending the exhibit. Campbell is the director of the legendary Saturday morning Beatles Cartoon series and animator on the Beatles film Yellow Submarine. In addition to his Beatles past, Ron has been involved with a number of other cartoon series including Scooby Doo, George of the Jungle, The Jetsons, The Flintstones, the Smurfs, Rugrats, Winnie the Pooh and dozens more.
One of the Classic Rock 102.9 'MGK Beatles Art Show's biggest highlights are never before seen fine art photographs captured by the Beatles American tour manager, Bob Bonis, including a very rare shot of John Lennon in the locker room at Philadelphia Stadium before the Beatles performed on August 16, 1966. The show will also include photographs from Linda McCartney (from the personal collection of Dick Clark), Beatles art from Al Hirschfeld and much more.

Photos of artwork and/or interviews with Ron Campbell available on request - contact Dan Fein at MGK or Scott Segelbaum, the show's curator, at or (610) 389-1807.
