JULY 4th STILLWATER CELEBRATION
Despite the St. Croix River Flooding situation, the Stillwater 4th of July Celebration goes on with a huge fireworks display over the river at 10PM synchronized to music. View from the Historic Courthouse, Lowell Park, Pioneer Park and outdoor dining decks.
RIVER ACTIVITIES IN STILLWATER DURING RIVER FLOODING
Reviews from kayakers, water board enthusiasts, Gondola Romantica and canoeists are reporting that the added flood waters of the St. Croix River at Stillwater have added to the enjoyment of these sports at this time.
STILLWATER LOG JAM EVENT
July 17-20, Thursday-Sunday. This new community event, replacing Lumberjack Days, is filled with live music, tournaments, a soap-box derby, lumberjack demonstrations and a parade. The event kicks-off on Thursday with a Talent Show and Ice Cream Social at the Historic Courthouse, 101 W. Pine Street. Most events take place in Lowell Park, downtown Stillwater. VINTAGE BASEBALL EXHIBITION IN STILLWATER
The St. Croix Baseball Club. offers, free to-the-public, vintage 1860’s rules ballgames on July 19th, Saturday, starting at 11AM at the Old Athletic Field on the corner of Orleans and 6th Street, Stillwater. Cheer on the teams dressed in Civil War period baseball uniforms.
ART ON MAIN in STILLWATER
The art galleries of Stillwater join together on July 18 from 6-9PM and July 19 from 11AM-5PM to celebrate and showcase Stillwater’s art scene in historic downtown Main Street. Friday night features an artist reception. Free.
SUMMER TUESDAYS IN STILLWATER
Family fun free event at Lowell Park, downtown Stillwater, every Tuesday night July 8-August 19 featuring live stage music, market vendors, and an outdoor first-rate family movie at dusk. LADIES NIGHT OUT! MAIN STREET HISTORIC STILLWATER
Five times per year, the Independent Business Association of Stillwater, offer a special night out for ladies to take advantage of shopping specials, food and drink samples complete with prizes and fun. July 10th, Thursday, from 5PM-8:30PM offers “Celebrate Your Independents!” as the theme.
