KleerPVC Decking Offers Beautiful Appearance, Low Maintenance, Easy Installation

100% PVC Construction is Lighter in Weight than Wood-and-Plastic Composites

LAS VEGAS (January 22, 2013)— Kleer Lumber, Inc., a leading American manufacturer of cellular PVC building products, announced today at the International Builders’ Show the availability of Kleer Decking, a seven-color collection of PVC decking with the natural look of wood. Within the line, every deck board features cap stock technology to ensure long-lasting performance.

Kleer PVC Decking is the ultra-low maintenance alternative to wood and wood composites. Its cellular PVC core is fully encapsulated with extremely durable materials that offer superior resistance to scratching, staining and fading. Kleer Decking is easier to handle because it has a100 percent cellular PVC core that is up to 40 percent lighter than wood-and-plastic composites. It is packaged in smaller 48 piece units in lengths of 12 ft., 16 ft. and 20 ft. Fascia boards are available in 24-piece bundles of 12-ft. lengths in five solid colors.

“With Kleer PVC Decking, we set out to deliver a uniquely innovative decking solution that meets the challenges of everyday outdoor living from inclement weather and harsh UV-rays to furniture scratching and beverage stains” said Jack Delaney, vice president of Kleer Lumber. “While other materials often fail, Kleer PVC Deckingwill be as beautiful tomorrow as it is the day it is installed, because it is designed to meet real life challenges.”

Backed by a 25-Year Limited Lifetime Residential Warranty that includes labor for the first two years, Kleer Decking features two collections – Coastal Series and Sierra Series -- and features a 100 percent PVC core, which is devoid of any organic material that might promote the growth of mold and mildew. Kleer Sierra Series PVC Decking provides five color selections with solid earth tones and tropical hardwood tones (Golden Teak, Brazilian Redwood, Hearthstone, Espresso and Sequoia), while Kleer Coastal Series PVC Decking features two lighter colors inspired by driftwood and sand (Cobblestone and Sand Dune). All seven colors display natural wood grain textures and feature a proprietary polymer cap stock that will not delaminate.

Kleer Lumber offers a variety of easy-to-use fastening options for use with Kleer Decking. Kleer Cortex Fasteners are color-matched for Kleer Decking and do not require pre-drilling and are virtually invisible. Kleer Stainless Steel Hidden Fasteners can be installed in the grooved edges of Kleer decking products for a seamless, more attractive finished appearance. Kleer PVC Decking is available with a grooved edge or with a solid edge that can be grooved using the TIGER CLAW Slot Cutter.

Kleer PVC Decking may be used with new KLEERRail™ PVC railing for a virtually maintenance-free deck system. The first architecturally correct engineered railing system to offer blind fastening, KLEERRail PVC Railing has the elegant appearance of a premium, painted wood railing system without wood’s endless maintenance.
