Gudgel Joins Stratos Optical as Product Manager

Chicago, IL (June 5(May 9, 20076) – Stratos Optical Technologies, a leader in fiberoptic connectivity systemm solutions for the broadcast, telecommunications and military markets, announced today that Dennis Gudgel recently joined the company as Product Manager, Video Division. In this capacity, Gudgel will play a key role in developing Stratos’ video business, supporting sales and marketing activities to OEM, system integrator, reseller and end-user customers. He will be responsible for the company’s media converter product line and supporting products and will assume a role in steering product solution design as well as managing product quality.

Gudgel has over 20 years experience in product management and marketing of engineered products for a wide range of industries including aerospace, data communications, electronics, broadcast and video, specifically in the coax and fiber optics market segments. His previous experience includes product marketing roles at Electrodynamics, Rogers Corporation, Alpha Wire Corporation and Belden Wire and Cable. He has an MBA from Ball State University and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Purdue.
