Is the 2010 Greater Puget Sound March for Babies Chair

Seattle, WA – March 10, 2010 — Stephen Zieniewicz, Executive Director, University of Washington Medical Center, joins the March of Dimes as the 2010 Greater Puget Sound March for Babies Chair. Zieniewiczis leading the efforts of more than 10,000 Greater Puget Sound walkers who raise money to support March of Dimes research and community programs.

Greater Puget Sound March for Babies will take place on Saturday, May 15 at the Seattle Center at 9:30 a.m. You can sign up today at and start a team with co-workers, family or friends. March for Babies, the March of Dimes’ largest fundraiser, helps fund lifesaving research and educational programs aimed at helping moms have healthy babies.

“Every day at the University of Washington Medical Center we treat babies that are born too soon or sick,’ Zieniewicz said. “The March of Dimes is working hard to help every baby be born full-term and healthy. That’s why UW Medicine is a proud partner of March for Babies and I am looking forward to joining everyone at the Seattle Center on May 15.”
