To control and record: sales, receiving, inventory levels at the composting and recycling facilities. Assist customers with purchasing products & services.Organizational Relationships

Requirements
Educational / High School DiplomaExperience
(number of years and type) / Two-Year experience with register systems and/or operating heavy equipment.
Networking
Internal Contacts / All associates.External Contacts / Customers/suppliers of the waste streams that are composted as well as customers/suppliers of products & services. Regulators.
To control and record:sales, receiving, inventory levels at the composting and recycling facility. Assist customers with purchasing products & services. Training and testing new register system with staff members. Learning to run loaders in order to load/unload customers/suppliers.
(35%) Recordkeeping and register work.
(15%) Assisting customers in products, services and purchases.
(15%) Scheduling of deliveries.
(10%) Loading customers.
(10%) Housekeeping of office.
(10%) Re-ordering inventory.
(5%) Stockpiling materials.
Assist Accounting Department in proper billing of customers and payment of vendors.
Develop new business.
IV. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES (Provide the number and type of associates supervised, level of authority to hire and terminate or to make recommendations.)

Microsoft Office Skills – requiredCustomer and Vendor Service Skills –required
Operate Wheel Loader and Backhoe – required (willing to train)
Ordering raw materials and supplies. Maintain acceptable levels of product to meet customer demand and seasonal timing at all composting and recycling facilities.
VII. WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT (i.e., necessary travel, unusual work hours, unusual environmental conditions, etc.)
Hands on job - dirt and dust are integral to job.Work Hours: Average 40-42 hours per week during the off season. Average 50+ hours per week during the busy season.
