The Consulate is open from 9.30 to 12.00 to produce the applications and from 12.30 to 13.00 to collect documents.
VISAS AND COMMERCIAL AUTHENTICATIONS
All the foreign citizens must to produce the visa request to the Egyptian Consulate closest to the place of residence. In urgent cases and only if is not possible to come in the Consulate, the citizens of the countries of the European Union, of all the Yugoslavian countries except Bosnia and Kosovo, of all the Countries of North and South America, of Albania, Russia, Ukraine, Japan, New Zeeland and Australia, they can get the visa directly when they arrive at the Egyptian borders. The citizens of Italy, Germany, France, Belgium and Portugal they can enter Egypt only with the Identity Card at all the Egyptian borders. Italian citizens travelling with the Identity Card, they must not have an extended validity for it.
The citizens of all the African Countries, excluded Madagascar and Mauritius Islands, of all the Asian Countries and of all the Middle East countries, they must to get the visa at least 15 days before to travel at the Egyptian Consulate closest to the place of residence.

The original commercial documents must to be produced at the window of the Consulate authenticated by the Chamber of Commerce, Prefettura or Procura della Repubblica of the South regions of Italy included Umbria and Sardinia.
The documents only in Italian language, after have been authenticated, must to be translated in English or Arabic by a sworn translator in the Italian Court of Justice and then authenticated by Procura della Repubblica.
Attached to the original documents must to be produced the photocopies.

FOR EGYPTIAN CITIZENS
The Consular Section makes translations only for Egyptian Citizens and only for: certificates of birth and certificates of death issued in Egypt and authenticated by the Egyptian Ministery of Foreign Affairs.
For every other document to translate and authenticate by the Consular Section, for Egyptians or Italians, the proceeding is the followed above:
- authenticate the original document by Prefettura or by Procura della Repubblica,
- translate the document by a sworn translator in the Italian Court of Justice and then authenticate it by Procura della Repubblica,
- authenticate it in the Consulate producing with the application also the photocopies.
To renew the Egyptian passport must to produce in the Consulate:
- the expiried passport,
- 4 passport size photos with a white background,
- and the document regarding the military position,
- who asks for a new passport must to come in the Consulate personally, fill in the form and pay the consular duties.
To ask for a new Egyptian passport if the previous one is missing or stolen must to produce in the Consulate:
- the police declaration in Questura or in the local Police Station,
- original documents or photocopies of them that certify the identity and the Egyptian nationality,
- and 2 passport size photos with a white background.
Who asks for a new passport must to come in the Consulate personally, fill in the form and pay the consular duties,
The passport will be issued after the authorization of the Egyptian Authority.
To ask for a passport for children before mentionated in the passport of the parents, must to produce in the Consulate:
- the original and the photocopy of the Egyptian certificate of birth,
- the original and the photocopy of the passport in which they are mentionated,
- and 4 passport size photos with a white background,
Who asks for a passport for a child must to come in the Consulate personally, fill in the form and pay the consular duties.
To get the certificate of authorization for marriage "NULLAOSTA", must to be produced in the Consulate:
- for Egyptians: a valid Egyptian passport and the certificate of marital status issued in Egypt from not more than 6 months authenticated from the Egyptian Ministery of Foreign Affairs,
- for Italians: the identity card, the certificate of marital status, the certificate of birth and the certificate of residence,
- if the citizen is not italian but is a foreigner, must to be produced the authorization for marriage from his/her Consulate authenticated from Prefettura,
Who asks for this certificate must to come in the Consulate personally, fill in the form and pay the consular duties.
To get the certificate of personal data "SHAHADA BAYANAAT" must to beproduced in the Consulate:
- the original Egyptian passport or the original Egyptian Identity Card,
Who asks for this certificate must to come in the Consulate personally, fill in the form and pay the consular duties.
To get the certificate of the same person "SHAHADA NIFS ASSHAKHS"must to be produced in the Consulate:
- the original Egyptian passport or the original Egyptian Identity Card,
- and the original documents in which are mentioneted personal data which are different from the data of the passport,
Who asks for this certificate must to come in the Consulate personally, fill in the form and pay the consular duties.
To get the certificate for the residence "IQAMA" in the Italian Comune must to be produced in the Consulate:
- the original passports for the wife and for the husband,
- the original certificate of marriage,
- and the original Egyptian certificates of birth for the children,
Who asks for this certificate must to come in the Consulate personally, fill in the form and pay the consular duties.
To get the certificates “TO WHOME OF MAY CONCERN” must to be produced in the Consulate:
- the original Egyptian passport,
- and a valid Stay Permission in Italy,
Who asks for this certificate must to come in the Consulate personally, fill in the form and pay the consular duties.
To get the Egyptian certificate of birth "SHAHADA ALMILAD"must to be produced in the Consulate:
- the original passports of the parents;
- the certificate of birth issued from the Italian Comune;
- and the original Egyptian act of marriage of the parents;
Who asks for this certificate must to come in the Consulate personally, fill in the form and pay the consular duties,
The application will be sent at the Egyptian registry office through the diplomatic bag.
To get the police record "FISH W TASHBI" must to be produced in the Consulate:
- the original Egyptian passport;
- and 1 passport size photo;
Who asks for this certificate must to come in the Consulate personally, fill in the form and pay the consular duties,
The application will be sent at the Egyptian competent office through the diplomatic bag.
To do a power of attorney "TAWKIL", only for Egyptians, must to be produced in the Consulate:
- the original Egytian passport;
Who asks for this certificate must to come in the Consulate personally, fill in the form and pay the consular duties.
To add a child on the passport of the parents must to be produced in the Consulate:
- the original Egyptian passports of the parents;
- the certificate of birth issued from the Italian Comune;
- and the original Egyptian act of marriage;
Who asks for this certificate must to come in the Consulate personally, fill in the form and pay the consular duties.
To ask for keeping the Egyptian nationality in case of obtaining the Italian nationality, must to be produced in the Consulate:
- the original Egyptian certificate of birth,
- the original Egyptian certificate of birth of the father,
- the two original Egyptian and Italian passports,
- and the decree of the obtaining of the Italian nationality or equivalent document,
