Football Development Programme – FC Porto, Portugal
The PE department are planning a joint residential trip at Easter 2019 to FC Porto, one of the top football clubs in Europe, along with teams from Redhill Academy. This fantastic opportunity will give the young footballers at South Nottinghamshire Academy the chance to train with the expert professional youth coaches from the club and experience the Portuguese culture.
All aspects of the tour will be organised for us by our Tour Operator, Inspiresport. The company are based in Cardiff and have an established reputation and a great deal of experience in arranging tours of this nature to similar markets. Inspiresport are an official partner of the English Schools Football Association and are ABTA (Association of British Travel Agents membership number: 6293) accredited and ATOL (Air Travel Operators Licence number: 6053) protected.
We are hoping to take between 20 and 30 pupils on the 5-day tour departing in the Easter Holidays 2019 (exact dates to be confirmed). The cost of the trip will be approximately £800.00. By promoting this fantastic opportunity early, it allows the trip to be paid off by monthly instalments over the next 18 months.
We are expecting a high level of interest in the trip, therefore we have invited a representative from Inspiresport to give a presentation about the tour and be on hand to answer any questions. The no-obligation presentation will be held at the School (main hall) on Wednesday 12th July.The presentation will start promptly at 6.00pm so please arrive in good time. We anticipate the talk and questions will take around 45 minutes.
