This is an opportunity for a Foodservice Sales Professional to get noticed and advance his/her career.

Responsibilities:

Reports to a Senior Management.

Achieve budgeted sales objectives.

Manage existing customers and business to include Regional Chain Operators and Distributors.

Stay abreast of marketplace needs and changes to include competitive activities and report information back to senior management.

Manage assigned promotional and travel budgets.

Prospect for new business.

Introduce and successfully gain distribution with new products and implement supporting programs .

Build upon and leverage existing relationships.

Develop and execute business plans within assigned territory and customers.

Combine one’s fact base sales skills with a working knowledge to provide customer solutions.

Communicate and interact with the manufacturing plants and other cross-functional team members to ensure orders are processed and delivered on time to customers.

Maintain and report competitive marketplace information and intelligence to include pricing, new product offerings and promotions to senior management.

Ensure the company is well represented in the industry.

Travel as need throughout the assigned region.

Requirements:

Minimum of 4 to 7 years of related Foodservice Sales experience and accomplishments within the packaging and paper goods category.

Demonstrated ability to take charge and be self-motivated.

Documented successful sales track record.

Ability to close sales.

Provide existing knowledge of the marketplace.

Posses a current network of relevant operator and distributor customer accounts customers

Excellent presentation skills.

Solid verbal and written communication skills.

Computer literate in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Ability to work from one’s own home office.

Travel within the Region.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in work experience.
