How you can help Fundraise:

- Sign up to (jump when clicked)

-Purchase from the Yellow Moon catalogue (jump when clicked)

-Recycle (jump when clicked)

-Support ‘Bag to School’ (jump when clicked)

-Collect tokens, cereal tops and vouchers (jump when clicked)
-Stuff envelopes with raffle tickets!
-Donate items on Mufti Days e.g. cakes, unwanted gifts, new toys, etc.
-Man a stall at the Christmas or Summer Fayre
-Join in the fun at the events that FoLPS organise for the children and get to know the other parents at the same time

How does work?

Easyfundraising is a shopping portal. If you register yourself as a supporter of Lakeside Primary School you will be prompted to shop via the Easyfundraising web-site every time you buy something on-line and a donation will be made to the school. To register:

Go to

Click on ‘I want to support a good cause or challenge’

Under ‘choose a good cause’ type in ‘Lakeside School Frimley’

Click on ‘Support’ when FoLPS comes up

Register your name, email address and a password

Agree to T’s & C’s and click on Proceed

Follow instructions to complete Toolbar Installation

When shopping on-line enter the name of the retailer or their web address into the small box next to the Easyfundraising logo on your Toolbar.

Purchase from the Yellow Moon catalogue

Yellow Moon is a catalogue of crafts, gifts and party bag fillers.
Go to
When you have finished shopping click on ‘Go to Basket’ and in the ‘Nominate Cashback’ Box type ‘SLA1353’ for Lakeside to benefit from your purchase.

What can I recycle?

Please leave the following under the covered area adjacent to the ICT Suite for Recycling:

Used printer toners and cartridges

Mobile phones

Jewellery

Foreign Currency – notes and coins

DVDs (NOT the newspaper freebies – they need a bar-code)

Computer games (as above – must have a bar-code on them)

Tassimo coffee sachets

What is Bag to School?

Twice a term we ask you to bring your unwanted clothing, shoes, belts and bed linen/blankets to the school. The bags are collected and weighed and Lakeside receives 50p per kilo of items.

Vouchers & Box Tops for Books

When Tesco issue their ‘Sports for Schools’ vouchers and Sainsburys give out their ‘Active Kids’ vouchers please be sure to pick up your vouchers from the till points and give them to the Office or your class teacher.

‘Box Tops for Books’ offers FREE fiction and non-fiction books from Dorling Kindersley in exchange for tokens, which can be found on the top of special packs of Nestlé cereals. So be sure you cut out the Box Top Voucher and send it into the school office.
