Following on from our conservation.

My manager and a lead HR arranged a meeting in regards to getting the registration done. I immediately plunged into it as I have always had the honest intention to do it. There were certain parts before you lodged your application to the regulatory body. First you have your application be approved by your manager which stating that you have met the following criteria,

  • You have to have degree or relevant qualification which I did have.
  • You have completed at least 100 hours of work including 75 hours of direct client contact, which I also have with my during my tenure with my ex. Employer.

MY employer could not able to sign the form in the manager capacity as I left it, so current employer has to sign it to be able to support your application for the registration, which my current leader did it so it was proved that I had met the criteria. I have also got the proof for that. Now the second part was the supervisor part.

  • You have at least six hours of direct supervision in six months, I never had the supervisor in my previous job but my ex. Clinical leader happened to be a Dapaanz supervisor. She oversaw my work. But I never had any supervisor in the official capacity. To let you further I inquired with Dapaanzthey told me that your current employer would be able to find the supervisor and they can arrange it for you to sign the supervisor part of form stating that he has direct six hours of supervision in six months.
  • My honesty that even my current leader approved it, when I went up to one of the staff members who happened to be a Dapaanz accredited supervisor. He was ready to sign the form without even look at it as if you become a supervisor you would get extra remuneration. But I held him back went to see my manger, explained the whole situation despite the part being signed by the current leader. As I have just started the job I though how he could have witnessed my work, but according to Dapaanz spoke person Ian told me that your current employer would be able to support for your application.
  • My current employer told me that how could we sign the supervisor part of the form when you have just started the job, they I asked the manager part of the form you had already signed which covers the same criteria as the supervisor part signifying that my application was endorsed by them.
  • They drew themselves in to a trap as on one aspect that they told me how we could we sign the form and on other aspect they signed the manager part of the form, also they did not have system to have a supervisor outside their workforce. I could have hired any supervisor outside The DHB to sign the form as the manager had already approved it.
  • They did say NO so I was choked from all quarters. They just wanted to get rid of me. Not having enough of getting abusing from a staff member I was told by my the team leader as I was from the different culture, color that was the reason people could not get along with you. That was a very provocative statement as I asked her about Treaty Waitangi? I further asked whether it was only on paper she nodded in affirmative.
  • I had an informal talk with the manager as she openly showed her displeasure at the kind of language used by the team leader she told she could have understood if these kinds of comments were made 50 years ago, but not now in era of globalization. She was a half Maori and half a Dutch man. She also confided in me she also faced racism when she was a kid here.
  • To my amazement two of staff members have not had sufficient qualifications or degrees though they got the registration from them. They reflected their double standards of supporting people who even did have the criteria of qualifying for the registration. They also knew that those people never met the criteria but they blindly supported them also did lie to Dapaanz. That was the grievous offense, I don’t think so it will be pardoned or ignored. In the name of the registration they are doing illegal practice. They should be behind bar for doing illegal practice. They have a different standard for different people.
  • I told them I was honest in my Endeavour when one gentle man was ready to sign my form being as my supervisor from our staff but i stopped him to get permission from the management. I f was dishonest in my practice I could have him signed the form by now I could have got the registration.
  • They did not take my honesty or integrity or track record in to account and tookalop sided decision. I have been made redundant for being honest and they wanted to sweep a serious misconduct of one of the employees of swearing in the workplace under the carpet so they made me scapegoat.
  • I need justice. I am on the street now how would I survive???????

What are my further steps? Can I sue them for torturing me? Can I write to the government? What action should I take? I need the compensation at least for the couple of months until I find another job and they should not malign my record and reputation any further? Otherwise my future will be jeopardy. Can I write to the media?
