Do you agree with all the marks/grades awarded?

Is there an appropriate spread of marks?

Have you considered borderline marks for each grade?

Is the feedback sufficiently detailed and understandable to students?

If you have any concerns please report as clear as possible, for instance by focussing on particular mark ranges or providing examples.

2.2) Any Actions as a result of moderation?

Module leaders are requested to complete the following item for FoC Quality management purposes. Information provided under item (3) will be effectively used to investigate ways of improving assessment feedback to our students.

If you have used various mechanisms (e.g. Weblearn, E-mail, Face-to-face etc.) in providing feedback, please give details.

  • For all end-of-semester assessments such as the major coursework, please use the University standard coursework coversheet. If you are using module specific feedback template agreed by the module team, please attach it to the standard coversheet.
  • Please note that you are not required to give feedback to students on final examinations but there is no stopping if you wish to do so. You are encouraged to give brief generic feedback on student’s examination performance particularly highlighting the common mistakes made by the students, with necessary advice to avoid these in future.
  • You are only allowed to give provisional grades, not the exact marks before the publication of results.
