Flu Shot Clinic Information

This October, Georgetown ISD is partnering with H-E-B to host a flu shot clinic at all of our campuses.

All GISD students, parents, other family members, and GISD employees are eligible to participate.

Rules of Eligibility:

Students must submit a fully completed consent form by the deadline

Students must submit a front/back copy of their insurance card or payment.

Middle School and High School:

Students do not need to have a parent/guardian present to receive the flu shot

Deadline to turn in consent forms is Tuesday, October 3, 2017. **Absolutely no late forms will be accepted.

Payment:

Your insurance will be billed for the cost of the vaccine.

You may pay the cash price of $12 for the flu shot.

Checks are accepted and should be made payable to H-E-B Pharmacy.

** (please include driver’s license number on the check).

The flu clinic process is as follows:

●Students will be called down; consent forms will be reviewed for completion and insurance/payment.

●The student will then proceed to the station where the flu vaccine will be administered.

●The student will be monitored by the nursing staff for approximately 15 minutes post vaccination before returning to class.

●No student will be restrained for vaccine administration.

The Interact Club, a service Club,will be meetingon Thursdayat4pmin room 303. We will be discussing our upcoming service projects and fundraisers.Please come to join our exciting and dynamic groupon Thursdayafternoon.

EAST VIEW BAND

Band is selling chrome "EV" logo car emblems for $15.If anyone is interested in purchasing one of these emblems to show your East View school spirit around Georgetown, they are available in the band hall and at the Diamond.

PEP RALLY

We will be having a jungle themed pep rallyon Friday. Please bring out your best jungle clothes and accessories. Make sure you do not cover or paint your face. Let’s see who has the most spirit in the school!

JACK FROST CITIZEN OF THE MONTH

Seniors - Applications are being accepted for the Jack Frost Citizen of the Month. Pick up your application in Mrs. Ray's room (208) or Mrs. Stephens’s room (318). A senior boy and girl are selected each month.

THE LOCKER

The locker will be hosting FREE haircuts by professional hair stylists for all students on Wednesday September 20th in the cafeteria from 4 to 8. ALL GISD students are welcome to come get a haircut.

THE RUBY SLIPPER

The Ruby Slipper is having their 2nd Annual Kendra Scott Fundraiser onFriday, September 29thfrom5-7pmin the East View Library. It's the same night as the East View vs. Georgetown Volleyball Game, so go support our lady Patriots, then come buy some amazing jewelry and enter to win a door prize!
