Marketing Coordinator

Reports to: Director of Marketing

FLSA Status: Full-time, Non-Exempt, Hourly

SUMMARY

Supports the efforts of the marketing team through in-house coordination of proposal compilation, collateral materials, special events, communications, andDeltek system management. Works collaboratively with the firm’s leadership team members, external clients and consultants, and marketing team colleagues.Willing to grow skills into a wide variety of marketing and business development realms to provide support to the department and the firm.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Organize and control activities in preparation of proposals, presentations, advertising, database maintenance, and direct mail campaigns.
  • Desktop publishing duties: PowerPoint presentation, proposals, project data sheets, and all associated collateral materials.
  • Assure all submission timelines and requirements are strictly adhered to by all involved parties (both in-house staff and consultants).
  • Maintain frequent interaction and coordination with consultant marketing representatives for proposal submissions.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of all marketing resource materials, including brochures, presentations, project sheets, resumes, proposals, photographs, trade show supplies/equipment, and inventory and management of in-house supplies.
  • Organize and maintain all marketing files, both hard-copy and electronic.
  • Provide support for Deltek system data input and opportunity tracking.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Demonstrable skill in Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher and PowerPoint required; intermediate to advanced competency working with Adobe Creative Suite preferred.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications; or Associate’s Degree in a business related discipline with at least 3-5 years relevant work experience in a marketing role may be substituted.

Prior experience/knowledge of professional services environments desirable, A/E/C experience considered a plus.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk or hear; is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger/handle/feel, reach with hands and arms; frequently required to sit, balance, stoop, kneel, bend, and crouch; occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
