William Susman and Frances Susman Scholarship Award
- 1 scholarship of $3,500 per semester (renewable for four years)
Morris T. John Scholarship Award
- 1 scholarship of $3,000 per semester (renewable for four years)
- 1 scholarship of $2,000 per semester (renewable for four years)
- Additional one year scholarships
- Other scholarships awarded based on application and interview(Possible continuation for prior
recipients)
Maude Klepzig Memorial Scholarship Award**
- 1 scholarship of $250.00 (non-renewable)
Rotary Scholarship Award**
- 2 scholarships of $250.00 (non-renewable)
FHS AWARD DESCRIPTIONS
William Susman and Frances Susman Memorial Scholarship Award
This is a renewable award available to Florence High School graduate for $7,000 per year. The award is to provide tuition and fees for an Associates or Bachelors degree from an accredited institution of higher learning including vocational and technology schools in Colorado.
Qualifications: GPA and current academic performance will be considered though a minimum GPA is not required. The Committee will give equal consideration to vocational, technical, and 2- or 4-year Colorado institutions. The applicant must graduate from Florence High School and have attended FHS for at least two years. The renewable scholarship may be awarded for up to 4 four years with a cumulative 3.0 GPA
Morris John Memorial Scholarship Awards
These awards will vary in amountsfor Florence High School graduates attending post-secondary institutions. The Florence High School Educational Awards Committee will give equal consideration to students applying to technical, vocational, 2- or 4-year institutions. Two automatic renewable scholarships in the amount of $6,000 and $4,000 per year will be awarded. Additional one year scholarships will vary in amount depending on funds available to the foundation. These awards may be renewable with possible continuation for more than one year depending on the student’s financial information and students maintaining a cumulative 3.0 GPA.
Qualifications: The applicant must be a graduating Florence High School student and attending an accredited college, vocational school, or other post-secondary institution.The renewable scholarships may be awarded for up to 4 four years if student maintains a cumulative 3.0 GPA

Applications must be received at Florence High School by 12:00 noon on Thursday, March 27, 2014.
Applications received prior to March 14, 2014 will be reviewed to ensure all components are complete. If not complete, applicants will be notified.

Florence High School 2014-2015Educational Award

Maude Klepzig Memorial Scholarship Award
This one-time $250.00 award is for a graduating FlorenceHigh School senior to be used at any accredited institution of higher learning including vocational and technology schools in the United States. The award may be used for tuition or other educational expenses.
Qualifications: The applicant must have a minimum high school GPA of 3.0 and have taken the ACT or SAT test. In addition, the Awards Committee will consider the applicant’s classroom attitude, cooperation, and general citizenship.
