Floral Pinterest Wedding project
You are going to create your dream wedding via pinterest. If you do not have a pinterest account you need to set one up on the app, if you have an account log into it.
iPAD rules:
1. Your iPAD number needs to correspond to your desk number
2. You need to sign your iPAD out each day
3. You are to only stay on the pinterest app and not deviate to anything else on the iPAD
4. If at any time you are not on the pinterest app you will automatically get a 0 for the day and possibly for the entire project
5. You are to treat the iPAD with respect and not misuse it
6. You are not to change the background or alter anything on the iPAD
Pinterest Assignment:
- Each day you will have certain items you will need to pin – you cannot work ahead and you need to pin in the order it is listed for grading purposes
o Each day I will grade that days pins – when you are finished bring it to me to grade
- Create a board called Wedding Project
- When creating your idea wedding you need to stick with a “theme”
o Theme examples:
§ Vintage
§ Rustic wedding
§ Princess wedding
§ Fishing theme
§ Baseball theme
§ Alice in wonderland theme
§ Many many more
- Monday you need to pin the following items:
o 5 wedding venues or locations
- Tuesday
o 5 bridesmaid dresses
o 5 tuxedos
o 3 flower girl dresses
o 5 mother of the bride/groom dresses
o 3 ring bearer
o 5 bride dresses
- Wednesday
o 3 appetizers
o 3 salads/soups
o 3 main dishes
o 4 brides engagement rings
o 4 bride wedding bands
o 4 groom wedding bands
o 3 guest favors
o 4 brides cakes
o 4 grooms cakes
- Thursday
o 6 bridal bouquet
o 6 bridesmaids bouquets
o 7 reception centerpieces
o 6 alter arrangements
o 6 corsages
o 6 boutonnieres
o 4 floral cake toppers
- Friday
o 5 band/DJ/singer
o 5 save the dates
o 5 invitations
o 4 honeymoon locations
o 4 pictures you want photographer to take of bride/groom or wedding party
Poster Board Assignment:
- Once you have pinned everything requested on pinterest you are to pick your 1 favorite from each category and print that picture
- This is your final grade
o You are responsible from printing your own pictures
§ Pictures must be in color
o You are responsible for providing your own poster board
- You are going to create a physical pinterest board out of poster board
o Be creative
o Display your wedding theme throughout the board
o Make sure you cover each category
§ Label each category
o On the back of the board:
§ tell us when your wedding will take place
§ What is your budget to your wedding
· Break it down by how much your spending in each area
§ Tell us what your wedding theme is
