Flexible Rental
The Polish logistics service provider PCC rents 42 state-of-the-art container chassis made by Schmitz Cargobull from PaulGünther AG.
With their latest order the firm PCC Containers Sp. z.o.o. from Jaworzno have increased their container chassis stocks to 60 units, all of which are rented from the rental specialist PaulGünther from Hamburg. PaulGünther began renting out container chassis in Hamburg in 1972. Today the rental specialist has a pan-European network of 40 rental centres in 13 European countries – of which 13 are in Germany alone. More than 4000 high-quality container chassis for all types of container – from the 20' standard to the 45' high-cube – are available. PaulGünther AG offer their customers rental, purchasing and financing solutions, with additional services such as maintenance, insurance and flexible rental models from one day to several years, as desired. With the semi-trailer container chassis with sliding bogie PCC offer a maximum degree of variability.
Equipped with front and rear extensions, the modern chassis is able to accommodate all standard container types from 20' to 45'. With the so-called sliding bogie it is possible to vary the loading position of a 20' container. For loading and unloading on the ramp a loading position flush with the rear of the vehicle is ideal for the 20' container. Optimum load distribution - and therefore a high level of driving safety - is achieved in the central driving position in front of the axle assembly. For example, a 20' container weighing 25 tonnes can be transported in this position with a vertical load of approximately 9 tonnes. The partly automated moving technology ensures easy handling of the chassis.
PCC Rail Containers is a subsidiary company of the logistics holding PCC Rail S.A., a company specialising mainly in intermodal transport. The logistics specialist maintains container terminals on the factory premises of PCC Rokita SA in Brzeg Dolny, as well as in Slawkow in Poland. The construction of further terminals in Poland is planned for the near future.
