COLLECTIVE SALE OF VINTAGE TRACTORS, VEHICLES & CLASSIC PLANT TOGETHER WITH TOWABLE ITEMS, COLLECTABLES, MODELS, SPARES & SUNDRIES

ENTRIES CLOSE 12 NOON, MONDAY 20TH JUNE 2011

A LIST OF ENTRIES WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE EVENT

DELIVERY - All items should be delivered to the site on the morning of the sale on Saturday 2nd July 2011. If special arrangements are needed you MUST phone Bakewell Office on 01629 812777.

SITE CLEARANCE – All lots should be removed from the Sale Site by 12 Noon on Monday 4th July 2011.

TRANSPORT – Vendors are responsible for the transport of items to the Saleground.

CONDITIONS OF SALE – The sale will be conducted subject to the Auctioneers’ usual Conditions of Sale (as amended) which will be displayed on the sale day and in the catalogue.

RESERVES – If a reserve is required on items it should be clearly stated on this form. Otherwise all items will be sold to the highest bidder. Any amendments to reserves should be submitted in writing to the Auctioneers before the sale day.

UNSOLD LOTS – Vendors must check the sold/unsold status of their lots with the Sale Office. The Auctioneers accept no responsibility for any lots unsold and reserve the right to charge for the removal of items left on the sale site after the day of sale.

COMMISSION – Vintage Vehicles, Classic Plant, Tractors & Towable Items - 6% on the first £2,999; 2½% thereafter.

Minimum Charge £8 per lot.

All Other Items including Collectables, Spares, Models & Sundries, etc. - 12% Minimum Charge £3 per lot.

VENDOR STATEMENTS – Payment should be made to vendors within 14 days of the sale. In the event of any dispute or refusal to pay, or non-payment on the part of the purchaser, the Auctioneers may, entirely at their discretion, annul and cancel the sale of such lot(s), the item in question to be returned to the Vendor.

HEALTH & SAFETY AT WORK ACT 1974 – Vendors and Purchasers should adhere to the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. Prior to the use of any machinery or equipment Vendors and Purchasers should ensure that the item / items comply with all relevant Health and Safety Regulations.

LIABILITY – The Auctioneers and the Landlords cannot be held responsible for any accident, loss or damage from any cause whatsoever which may occur whilst the item is on the Sale Ground. All lots are at the Vendor’s risk until sold and the purchaser’s risk immediately at the fall of the Auctioneer’s hammer.

AUCTIONEER’S RIGHT TO ANNUL SALES – In the event of any dispute or refusal to pay, or non-payment on the part of the purchaser, the Auctioneers may entirely at their discretion annul and cancel the sale of such lot(s).
