Brief Description / Title of Enhancement
Reconciliation process for transfers between state agencies.
Description of Business Need
There is a need to be able to reconcile transfers between agencies to ensure the accurate recording of these transactions, for both the issuing agency and the receiving agency. This is also critical for accurate recordings of due to's and due from's accounts as reflected in the financial reports like trial balances.
Suggested Solution
The desired solution would to have a process in FLAIR similar to the Revenue to Revenue interactive screens that deal with revenues between agencies. This increases the validity of the recording in both agencies accounts. Other possibilities could be presented by a workgroup comprised both of agencies and DFS.
Benefits
Accurate and timely recording of transfers by all agencies which would provide confidence in the book of records for individual agencies as well as the State of Florida as a whole.
