Return of Trophies.
Trophy holders from last season are reminded to return their trophy, suitably engraved, and polished to any league councillor by the 1st February 2011. Trophy holders are Henleys Athletic, Northallerton Police, Richmond Turf x2, StokesleySC, Three Coopers FC and West Tanfield. Penalty for late return is a fine of £50
Reporting of Results to league website by SMS text via mobile phones.
The Combination is planning to ask clubs to report the results of games using the SMS message system provided by the F.A. as part of their “Full-Time” league administraton package. In order to set this up two mobile numbers for each club are required to be registered on the league website. Initially we’ll register the number of the club secretary the other could be the team manager or other club member. Club secretaries should text their contact numbers to Ian Richardson on 07896685505 or email him on so we can get the system set up..
Full instructions on how the system works will be posted on the website so you can download them. Basically each club secretary will be registered on the league website as a Team Administrator. Shortly after kick off of each game a message will be sent to both contacts of the home and away clubs reminding them to send in the result. At the end of the game both clubs should reply using the word RESULT (followed by a space) and then enter the score of the game, home team first,away team second, separated by a hyphen. NO OTHER DETAILS REQUIRED. The results will then be automatically entered on the league website and league tables updated.
It is planned to pilot the scheme during January and bring in to full use during February. In the meantime home clubs should still ring in results to Ian Morton by 2pm on Sundays. Data Protection Act:- Please advise Ian Richardson or myself if you object to your contact details being held on the Combination website. This also applies to referees whose names and telephone numbers are on the site.
