Regular Semester Hours

Monday – Wednesday 6:30 AM – 10:00 PM

Friday 6:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Saturday 2:00PM – 5:00PM

Sunday 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM

·  The Fitness Center will be closed during most student holidays

·  Hours are reduced during Christmas Holidays and summer break

·  The fitness center is equipped with Life Fitness, Icarian and Hoist machine weights, a variety of free weights, recumbent and upright bicycles, treadmills, elliptical trainers and a rowing machine.

EACH FACULTY AND STAFF PERSON MUST HAVE A HEALTH HISTORY QUESTIONNAIRE AND A WAIVERON FILE PRIOR TO USING THE FACILITY

TLU Health History Questionnaire

The Fitness Center Health History Questionnaire can now be filled out electronically online. To locate the questionnaire follow the steps below.

1. Login to my.tlu.edu

2. Click the STUDENT LIFE tab.

3. From the menu on the left side of the page click the folder labeled Campus Recreation.

4. Towards the top of the page click the link labeled TLU Health History Questionnaire (Fitness Center)

5. Fill in your responses to each question. Select the Next Page link to go to the next page of the questionnaire.

6. When finished click the Submit Form button.

7. Spouses will have to fill out a paper copy.

·  Locker room (w/ showers) and lockers are available; however, no personal locks should be used by the member. Locks can be checked out or rented at the front desk.

·  You must present your TLU ID at the front desk

·  Shoes and shirts must be worn at all times in the exercise area

·  Please rack your weights

·  Drink containers must be covered

·  All injuries should be reported to the front desk and an injury report, in most cases, must be filled out

·  A member has TWO guest passes per month and the guest must fill out a Guest Agreement Waiver each use.

·  Available equipment: Jump ropes, resistance bands, balance disks, two mountain bikes. Only mountain bikes may leave the facility.

·  Fitness programs: Fitness Fanatics, Reach Your Peak, TLU Fitness Challenge, Biggest Loser, fitness testing.
