IMS HOMEWORK CLUB

Dear Parent(S) or Guardian(s),

Our after school study program will begin Monday, October 5, 2015. The program is offered to 20 students from each grade (first come, first serve) Monday – Thursday afternoon from 3:10 PM to 3:50 PM. Late bus passes will be given to all students who take the last bus home.

The homework club is a program designed to provide a place for your child to get a start on, and help with, their daily homework assignments. All students are expected to come to the club with all homework materials and a book to read. In order to make this a positive experience for all who attend disruptive behaviors will not be tolerated. If a student is disruptive, the following procedure will occur:

•  First time – Parents/Guardians will receive a warning letter.

•  Second time – Parents/Guardians will receive a 2nd letter dismissing their child.

If you would like your child to attend the program, please fill out the bottom of this sheet and return it to your homeroom teacher or to the main office. No child will be allowed to attend without a signed permission slip. Once accepted into the Homework Club, students will be expected to attend each day. Should the student no longer need the Homework Club or be unable to attend the scheduled meetings, it is expected that Ms. Leusen be notified via email at at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to notify Ms. Leusen on two occasions will result in dismissal from the program.
