CRITENDIVIDUAL NOMINATIONS
CRITERIA FOR CORPORATE NOMINATIONS
Nominations must be Middle Tennessee companies and organizations which have demonstrated a commitment to assist the entry, career advancement and/or working conditions for women employees. The number of women in leadership and/or management positions, in relation to the size of the company, will be given consideration.
A nominee will have programs or policies that have removed barriers which delay or diminish women’s opportunities with measurable results noted. The nominee will have demonstrated strategies that are fresh, creative or innovative. Consideration will be given to the size of the company in relation to the number or extent of its efforts.
Previous winners and the employers of the judges are ineligible. Repeat nominations (from past two years) will be considered if updated using current nomination form.
THE JUDGING
THE JUDGING
The Judging Committee will be comprised of an independent panel of local and community leaders who embody high standards of excellence and community service. The decision of the judges will be announced in the media.
DEADLINE FOR NOMINATIONS
Corporate and individual recipients will be honored at the 2017 awards ceremony on Thursday, October 19. The honoree is required to be present at the ceremony. Nominations must be electronically submitted, mailed or hand-delivered by 5 p.m. Friday, June 9, 2017. Those mailed must be postmarked by June 9.
