Faith at the Farmers Market - Every Sunday in July, meet with others at the Farmers Market after worship for lunch and conversation. Grab some lunch or a snack and meet at noon by the water at the tree with benches around its trunk.

Men’s Breakfast and Study Group–August 8, 7:45 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. at the RoyalCourtRestaurant on Meadow Street across from Tops/Wegmans.

Friends of John Hays-Check out LOTSAHELPINGHANDS website for the latest needs for John. There are needs for rides to and from therapy and other appointments. To participate, log on as a church friend. John’s link is or call the office.

Women Swimmin - On August 18, 350 women will swim 1.2 miles across Cayuga Lake to raise money for Hospicare and Palliative Care Services of Tompkins County. A group of women have formed a Pod for Pat and will be swimming in honor of Pat Thonney. Some of our church members will be swimming in this event. If you would like to sponsor them, please send your donations to the church office or sponsor a specific swimmer on-line at

Meet and Greet – Every 3rd Sunday after the service. The next one is Sunday, August 19th. After the service Laura Lee and Manda will be available in the church library to meet new folks and visitors. If you would like to learn more about First Congregational Church, come spend some time with our pastors. They would also like to get to know you better!

Lunch Bunch – Every 3rd Sunday. The next one is Sunday, August 19th at 12:30 p.m. at the Ramada Inn, Triphammer Road. Sign up in the Narthex.

Feed My Starving Children – Online Volunteer Registration Now Open. Please check your FMSC email from the church as to how to sign up for the MobilePack 9/7-9/9. Contact the church office 257-6033 or email with questions.

Extra Produce?? -If you have extra garden produce this summer, please take it to the Baptized Church of Jesus Christ Food Pantry at 412 First Street across from the old P&C. They are open Tuesdays and Wednesdays 10-12:00 noon. Share your harvest!
