Position Description

Position Title: FCCA AdministratorReport To: FCCA Board
Work Year: Full Time Status: At Will

Qualifications:

  • Salaried Position
  • Degrees, Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: B.A./B.S. Degree, Administrative Credential preferred,valid driver’s license.
  • Experience and Training: Educational Administrativeexperience preferred. Valid teaching credential and five years teaching experience required.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Basic knowledge of child guidance principles and practices. Knowledge of subjects taught at FCCA. Strong communication skills to interact with students, teachers, parents and other faculty and staff. General knowledge of basic clerical and financial record keeping processes.
  • Abilities: Ability to perform the essential responsibility and work tasks of the position. Ability to work independently. Interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy.

  • The FCCA Administrator shall be in agreement with FCCA Statement of Faith.
  • The Administrator shall prayerfully help students learn attitudes, skills and subject matter that will contribute

to their development as mature, able and responsible Christians to the praise and glory of God.

  • All employees of FCCA are expected and considered to be Christian role models in their beliefs, attitudes and behavior. It is expected that all employees of FCCA accept Jesus Christ as their personal savior and seek to follow his lead in all their words and deeds. It is further expected that all employees embrace without reservation the primacy of the Holy Bible as the authoritative norm for faith and life. We mandate that our employees sign a morality contract that dictates the standards of Judeo-Christian conduct as described by scripture.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain communication with staff, students and their parents.
  • Supervise the coordination and articulation of Academy and Extended Care instructional program.
  • Monitor and evaluate school programs and develop long term goals with staff.
  • Manage Evaluation and Training of all FCCA staff.
  • Interview/Hire new Academy staff.
  • Develop Academy Job Descriptions.
  • Oversee staff scheduling.
  • Facilitate Teacher meetings.
  • Lead/Facilitate Staff Development, maintain staff development plan.
  • Monitor maintenance of teacher files including biographical data, correspondence, state certificates, record of medical and transcripts.
  • Work with outside agencies (i.e. FUSD, ACSI) to support student achievement.
  • Report to School Board at monthly meetings.
  • Manage review of curriculum and resources and facilitate ordering of materials.
  • Oversee annual student testing program (order materials, review reports, etc.).
  • Maintain School Budget.
  • Revise/update staff and student handbooks.
  • Oversee evaluation and scheduling of Academy classified staff.
  • Disseminate school news to school and church families and other area churches when appropriate.
  • Promote the school in the community.
  • Administer policies as set by the School Board.
  • Assist with developing long term school goals (i.e. accreditation).
  • Present a positive image to the community, as a school representative at community meetings and workshops.

Supplemental:

  • Maintain professional competence through participation in in-services and education activities.
  • Participate in professional organizations.
