Final Thoughts
Describe your “biological” experience this year. What lessons in “life” did you learn?
What advice would you give next years students? What is your personal outlook in the future?
This has certainly been a very educational year. Never had I learned so much in such a short time. Classes always seemed to pass by quickly, with all the new and interesting information being taught. AP Biology has broadened my view on life making me see how much knowledge there is to learn. With the many things I learned from this class, I have seen myself being able to have more interesting conversations with other people and elders. Also, I have learned the deeper meaning of living organisms, how they interact and how they react.
AP Biology students must come into the class prepared to learn and to study heavily. The most important thing they should do is to keep an open and positive mind. They have to always believe in overcoming obstacles and that no matter how hard something may seem, to keep trying.
My personal outlook in the future seems much easier now after taking this class. I have gotten a taste of the difficulties college may bring and believe that I will be prepared to tackle them. I have learned to never give up, which with this I am confident that I will be able to succeed in what I set my mind to.
