Film: Raving Iran at Barras Art and Design

What time will the doors open?

Barras Art and Design will be open from 12.00.

Will I need a ticket to visit the venue during the day?

A ticket to Raving Iran will not be required to visit BAaD during the day and enjoy Iranian street food and additional activities.

At 19.00 screening ticket-holders will be provided with a wristband and those without will be given the option to either purchase a ticket (subject to availability) or vacate the venue before Raving Iran begins.

What time will the film actually start?

Raving Iran will begin at 20:00. Audience should take their seats approx.10 minutes prior to this.

What will be happening at the event in addition to the film screening?

BAaD will be operating an Iranian style menu for the entire day, providing a range of starters, small plates and mains. Food is not included in the ticket price but will be available to purchase separately.

Audience will be invited to have a seat at 19:45 for the Intro and Raving Iran screening. We hope the film will be followed by a Q&A.

When will the film end?

Raving Iran is 1 hour and 24 minutes long and will finish at approx. 21:30.

When will I be required to vacate the venue?

Raving Iran ticket-holders will be asked to leave at 22:30.

Where can I collect my tickets from?

Tickets will be available to collect or buy from the Glasgow Film Festival Box Office at Glasgow Film Theatre: http://www.glasgowfilm.org/theatre/information/gft_information.

Ticket sales at the GFT Box Office end at 16:00 on the day of the event. Ticket collection will be available at Barras Art and Design from 18:00 onwards.

Will you be selling tickets at the door?

If our event does not sell out, then tickets will be available to buy on the door. However, we have held similar events to this one before and they have nearly all sold out. We advise you to book your tickets as soon as possible.

Will there be food for sale at the event?

In additional to its usual menu, the A’Challtainn kitchen will be preparing a special range of Iranian dishes for the day, with small plates especially for the screening, available to purchase separately.

Will there be alcohol for sale at the event?

Yes, there will be a licensed bar at the venue with a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

Are there any age restrictions for this event?

Raving Iran is a certificate N/C 18+. No one under 18 will be admitted to this event. If you are lucky enough to look under 25 you will be asked to prove that you are aged 18 or over before you are given access to the event.

Can I reserve a seat?

All seats are unreserved, unless otherwise stated.

Are latecomers admitted?

Late entry to the events is at the discretion of the Event Coordinator. The Event Coordinator reserves the right of admission and their decision is final.

What is your refund policy?

Refunds will only be made in the case of cancellation of the event.
