FILM ADAPTATION

-The transfer of a written work, in whole or in part, to a feature film. Such resources may include novels, TV shows, video games, comic books, biographies, poems, etc.

  • YOU AND YOUR GROUP WILL PUT TOGETHER A FILM ADAPTATION THAT WILL RUN NO SHORTER THAN TEN MINUTES.
  • Please make sure that the source of your adaptation comes from a credible source; please do not make up your film and its premise from scratch. – No super violent, graphic, or sexual material is allowed.
  • In doing a film adaptation make sure that the main idea of your film comes from the source that you chose, I will be ok with minor name changes, and left out pieces of your source, but again, please make sure the main idea of your adaptation is consistent with your source.
  • This film is supposed to be your best work of the year, I want everyone to work ten times harder than they did on the two previous projects, these films must be film festival worthy!
  • THE PROCESS OF THE PRODUCTION NOTEBOOK, EDIT LOG, SCRIPT, ETC. WILL BE THE SAME AS THE LAST PROJECT, ALTHOUGH I DID ADD SOME THINGS HERE AND THERE.
  • I WILL BE CHOOSING THE GROUPS AGAIN, BE SURE TO WORK TOGETHER, THE BETTER EVERYONES INDIVIDUAL WORK IS, THE BETTER OVERALL GRADE THE MOVIE WILL GET.
  • YOUR INDIVIDUAL WORK WILL BE WORTH 125 POINTS FOR THIS PROJECT, THIS IS A MAKE OR BREAK YOUR GRADE PROJECT, EVERYONE NEEDS TO BE INVOLVED AND PUTTING FORTH THEIR ABSOLUTE BEST EFFORT, ANYTHING LESS THAN THAT WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. – PLEASE NOTIFY ME DISCRETELY IF ANYONE IN THE GROUP IS GOOFING OFF AND NOT PUTTING IN A SOLID EFFORT, I WILL DOCK THEM POINTS IMMEDIATELY.
