Milan C-2 PRESCHOOL ENROLLMENT

Preschool is open to all residents of the MilanSchool District. Children must be 3 or 4 before August 1 of the present school year. Children who were 4 before August 1, 2017, will be given first consideration in preparation for kindergarten.

There is a daily tuition charge and enrollment fee.
One- Time Non-refundable Enrollment Fee: $70.00
Tuition: is $14.00 per day. Financial assistance is available for those who qualify through the Department of Family and Senior Services to assist in tuition costs. (Weekly tuition will be due on Monday/or the first day of the school week.) You may choose to pay a month in advance if that is most convenient for you. The Milan C-2 Preschool program is a 5-day a week program. You will be charged for every day that school is in session, regardless of attendance. There will be no partial charges for short days such as late starts, early dismissals or if a child arrives late or leaves early. Every day will be based on a full day fee.
Tuition will be considered past due if fee has not been paid for 10 days. Children who owe more than 10 days tuition may not return to preschool until payment is received, child may also be dropped from the program if not paid in full. Parents will be contacted concerning the late fees and removal of child from the program.
Lunch: Children will be eating lunch in the preschool room; lunch will be provided by the school cafeteria. Lunch prices are $1.60 per day. (Families may qualify for free or reduced lunches by filling out the appropriate form.) Reduced lunch price last year was $.50 per day. Those who qualify for the free lunch program will receive free lunch. Milk is included in the lunch price. Children who have food allergies must have a doctor complete a special diet form.
Snack: A morning and afternoon snack will be provided. All children will need to pay for milk or juice, (free/ reduced lunch prices do not apply to Milk/ Juice for snack). Last year milk or juice was $.25 each- $.50 per day for two, $2.50 for a full week of school.
