Take practice test on Spelling and Language skills. Using actual testing procedures, page 64 – 75. Go over at 2 o’clock.

Friday – April 1, 2011

Poetry Collection 2: Mother to Son, The Village Blacksmith, and Fog....review vocabulary... answer literary analysis, reading skills,and reading check questions. Use a graphic organizer to connect details from the poem “Mother to Son.” Identify the types of figurative language in each poem.

Monday – April 4, 2011

Go over the three poems from Friday. Read the poems and discuss them orally and go over questions. On line quiz at phschools.com code ema-6405.
