Fifty-ninth. All of Appomattox and Buckingham Counties; part of Albemarle County comprised of the Country Green (305), Porter's (403), and Red Hill (302) Precincts; part of Campbell County comprised of the Altavista (303), Bedford Springs (202), Concord (603), Court House (402), Evington (301), Lynch Station (302), Spring Hill (501), Three Forks (401), and Yellow Branch (502) Precincts; and part of Nelson County comprised of the Faber (501), Gladstone (302), Lovingston (201), Schuyler (202), and Shipman (301) Precincts.

Precincts shall be interpreted to refer to those in existence on April 1, 2011, and as reported by the United States Bureau of the Census in the 2010 Census reports provided pursuant to United States Public Law 94-171, notwithstanding subsequent changes made by localities.

The following descriptions are provided for information purposes only pursuant to § 30-264 of the Code of Virginia. The provisions of § 24.2-304.03 of the Code of Virginia, including the statistical report referenced in and on file with the Clerk of the House of Delegates, shall be controlling in any legal determination of the district boundary.

A. Part of Albemarle County contained within a line described as follows:

  1. Beginning at the point where Mechums River intersects the Albemarle County-Nelson County boundary
  1. northeast on Mechums River to Interstate 64
  1. east on Interstate 64 to Sunset Avenue Extended (State Route 781)
  1. south on Sunset Avenue Extended to Mountainwood Road (State Route 1112)
  1. east on Mountainwood Road to State Route 780, also labeled Old Lynchburg Road on census maps
  1. southeast on State Route 780 to State Route 631 (Old Lynchburg Road)
  1. south on Old Lynchburg Road to a tributary of Biscuit Run at a point just south of Forest Lodge Drive, said tributary being the northern boundary of census block 510030113012044

  1. northeast on said unnamed road to its terminus and continuing on an unpaved road approximately 0.5 miles to a non-visible boundary, being the Massies Mill Magisterial District boundary
  1. northwest and then north along said non-visible boundary for approximately four miles, following the ridge line of Becknor's Ridge to Pat's Knob, said boundary being the western boundary of census blocks 511259503001133, 511259503001130, and 511259503001125 respectively
