Painting exhibition “Mazarrón: el mar y yo” by the Murcian artist Cristóbal Pérez García.
Place: Casas Consistoriales (Old Town Hall). From 9h to 14h from Monday to Saturday, and from 17h to 20h from Wednesday to Friday.
From the 30th November to the 7th December
Solemn Novenario in the Santuario de la Purísima Concepción.

Friday, 1st December
Throughout the fiestas, a tapas route is running, from the 1st to the 10th December.

10:00h – 19:30h Solidarity Marathon being run by La Voz de Mazarrón on behalf of Cáritas.
Place: Plaza del Convento and Plaza Toneleros.
17:00h Opening of the fairground by the candidates to be the junior fiesta Queens and Kings 2017, with two for one offe on this opening day in the Recinto Ferial fairground rides until the closing.

21:30h Pregón, opening speech, of the fiestas in honour to the Purísima Concepción by Francisco Navarro Campillo.
Place: Centro Parroquial de Mazarrón in Plaza Ramón y Cajal, alongside the church of San Antonio de Padua.
21.30h Concert by Azrael, Alambrada, Anticiclón (local band) + guests organiced by the Rock association “AlmazaRock”.

12:00h Día del tomate (Day of the tomato). The Queen of the fiestas and her honour court, wearing the regional costume, will be handing out free local grown tomatoes to our neighbours and visitants.

17:00h Floral offering to the Patrona (Saint patron). The entourage will depart from the Jardín de La Purísima until the Santuario realizing a parade. The offer will consist on the offering of white flowers to the patrona of the town. People will wear the traditional Murcian costume. After the offering, the mass will take part.

20:00h Holy mass for our deceased and Besamanos (kissing the hand of the Virgen) before her return to her Camarín (niche). The image of our Patrona will be exposed during the whole day at the bottom of the Major Altar to receive the devotion of the faithful and the Besamanos will be at the end of the Holy Mass.
