United Stationers Creates Furniture Division; Names Key Managers

Deerfield, Ill.–March 4, 2010 --Building on its position as a leading furniture wholesaler, United Stationers has created the United Stationers Furniture Division, which will operate as a part of United Stationers Supply Co. Jim Fahey has been named president of the new division, which will have its own channel marketing and category management team, as well as a nationwide team of experienced, dedicated furniture salespeople who will be developing new business opportunities and working collaboratively with United’s existing Supply Division sales organization. Several keysales management appointments have been made as part of the launch, including:

  • Rich Aievoli, vice presidentgeneral manager, sales;
  • Felton Jones, region sales director, West;
  • Michael Pritchard, area sales manager, West;
  • William Miller, region sales director, Central.

Additional appointments will be announced in the coming months.

The new division will continue to provide distribution through the United Supply Division’s network, with the Furniture Customer Care group based in St. Louis.
